The reasoning
makes the difference.
Photograph or type a maths task and question the explanation step by step. KIsy supports understanding; your own reasoning still matters.

y = 3x² + 4
“Why does this parabola have no real roots?” A useful explanation starts with the reasoning, not just a formula.
- For every real number x, x² is at least 0.
- Therefore 3x² + 4 is always at least 4. The minimum occurs at x = 0.
- The vertex is (0,4). The parabola opens upwards and never crosses the x-axis.
Think further: what changes for y = 3x² − 3?
3x² − 3 = 0 → x² = 1 → x = −1 or x = 1. The vertex is now (0,−3); there are two real roots.
Useful questions reveal the reasoning.

How can I check my result independently?
AI can make calculation and reasoning errors. Compare with teaching materials and ask a teacher when unsure. KIsy does not replace professional assessment of significant learning difficulties.
